Stuck, found a bug, or want something the app doesn’t do yet? Write to us. Two ways in; both reach the same people.
Get in touch
- In the app: Tools › Support. The message goes out with the app version and the car you have open, so you don’t have to type them.
- By email: support@dreamdiag.com. Say which app (iPhone, web or desktop), the adapter you use, and the car (year, make, model).
Before you write — the usual fixes
“No OBDLink found.” An OBDLink MX+, MX or LX pairs in the phone’s Settings › Bluetooth first; the app then finds it. An OBDLink CX (Bluetooth LE) needs no pairing step: keep it powered in the car’s OBD port and within reach, then tap Connect. Other ELM327 adapters over Bluetooth LE work the same way as the CX.
“The car didn’t answer.” Seat the adapter firmly in the OBD port and turn the ignition on (engine off is fine). Some older cars need a few seconds after key-on before their modules answer.
The scan read fewer modules than usual. Rescan with the ignition on and the engine off. A car that has been asleep for a while may wake modules one at a time.
Faults come back after clearing. A fault whose cause is still present is set again on the next drive cycle. Permanent (Mode 0A) codes clear themselves once the car’s own self-test passes; no tool can erase them.
Flashing a calibration. Tools › Tuning. Connect over vehicle Ethernet (the captured path) or a proven OBD adapter, Read ECU, pick a verified file or an exact program-id package, type the VIN, and start. Keep the phone on the link until the write finishes. Coding and factory workshop procedures still run from the desktop workspace.
